Swiss Family Hike
From the Peak to Pok Fu Lam
Join us for a scenic hike from the Peak to Pok Fu Lam. The whole family is welcome, including your dog. Please wear good walking shoes and bring a hat, sunscreen, plenty of drinking water, and your own snacks. We hope you can join us for this delightful outdoor adventure!
Programme:
9.45 am | Meeting at the Peak (at Pacific Coffee)
You will travel on your own to the Peak, where the hiking group will meet at Pacific Coffee inside the Peak Tower. Look out for Marco Foehn, our hiking leader for the day.
10.00 am | Start of the Swiss Family Hike
Our walk starts along the scenic Lugard Road and continues onto Hatton Road, where we will explore the historic Pinewood Battery. From there, we descend to Kotewall Road and follow the picturesque Pok Fu Lam Conduit, concluding our hike at Queen Mary Hospital in Pok Fu Lam.
Throughout the hike, Marco Foehn will share fascinating stories about this area of Hong Kong. The distance is approximately 7 km, is considered an easy walk and suitable for children and will take around 2.5-3 hours to complete.
From there everyone is free to make their way home, with plenty of buses or taxis available for your convenience. Any transportation costs are at your own expenses.

Weather
The hike will be cancelled in the event of thunderstorms, red/black rain or T8. We will decide on the hiking day at 07.00 am in such case.
