Tsz Shan Monastery:
Guided Tour with lunch
The Big Buddha on Lantau ranks highly in all Hong Kong guidebooks. Rightly so, he is a splendid sight sitting atop his mountain welcoming thousands of visitors from all over the world.
Did you, however know that there is another equally fabulous statue further North? It’s at Tsz Shan Monastery in Hong Kong’s New Territories. Visit Guan Yin, her home is the grounds of the tranquil Tsz Shan Buddhist Monastery. This calm and peaceful Buddhist complex is backed by lush green mountainside.
This event is limited to 28 guests only.
The tour includes a private transfers from Admiralty MTR station to and from Monastery, guided tour of Tsz Shan Monastery followed by traditional vegetarian lunch at a nearby restaurant.
Tour Details
8:50AM | Meeting at Admiralty MTR station for private bus transfer. Please make sure to arrive on time. The bus will leave promptly at 9:00 AM.
10:00AM – 12:00PM | Guided tour at the monastery
A guide will take the group around the monastery and introduce Guan Yin and the wonders of the monastery. Includes free time to enjoy the museum.
12:15 – 2PM | Lunch
After the tour the group will transfer to a nearby vegetarian restaurant for lunch.
2:15 – 3:00PM | Transfer back to Admiralty MTR station
The bus will drop all participants back to Admiralty station.
