Support the Swiss Dragons at their upcoming Race Day
Sports events are back, and so are the Swiss Dragons!
The Swiss dragon boat team has been paddling in the wild waters of Hong Kong since 1984 and has been an important part of the Swiss community over these decades.
Every year on the public holiday, the Dragon Boat Festival celebrations take place all over Hong Kong with the biggest event being the Stanley Dragon Boat Championships.
You are invited to this year's race day to show your support for our paddlers as we compete in three races over the course of the day.
Each race sees 8-12 teams compete over a distance of 270m, lasting around 90 seconds of non stop paddling.
If you cannot make it for the races you are more than welcome to get to know the team as we celebrate the day over some post race refreshments.
When? Friday, 3 June - all day
Where? Races - Stanley Main Beach Celebration and Drinks - "Spiaggia" at Stanley promenade
The races are going to take place between 8am and 5pm but the full schedule has not been released yet.
