For the 70th year anniversary of the Swiss Association in Hong Kong you are invited to capture the best moment in Hong Kong with a Swiss twist.
Here’s what we are looking for:
- showing the connection between Switzerland and Hong Kong
- landscapes, cityscapes, culture & heritage
The competition begins now and
ends June 30, 2018, 11.59PM (HK time) and is open to amateurs and professional photographers alike who are members of the Swiss Association.
To enter the competition: Send your photo (together with the completed submission form
below) with the following
specifications to
sahk-70-photo-contest@swiss-hk.com:
- No watermarks
- saved as JPEG or JPG
- Resolution of minimum 3MB and maximum 10MB
- in original pixel size (do not scale and do not change the resolution)
- paper submissions will not be accepted
- photos must not show the name of the photographer
- photos must be in original and not photoshopped
- Images that have won prizes in prior competitions, or have been used for commercial purposes and/or been published will not be eligible
Judging: The committee of Swiss Association will assess based on the following
- Creativity
- Artistic skill / photographic quality
The winning photo will be announced on our website and the winner will be notified by email.
Competition prizes: The winning photo will be featured on the front page of the Swiss Association’s website. Furthermore, the winner will receive
a present at the prize award ceremony during our Swiss National Day celebration on August 1, 2018 and an exclusive interview will be published in the next issue of our
magazine S’Alphorn. Each person can only submit one photo. Each Entry earns a special edition
70-years-SAHK-pin.

With the submission the competitor agrees to the following Rules:
1. The photographers must be the copyright holders
2. Copyright holders retain copyright of their work. For the awarded picture, copyright holder grant the Swiss Association unlimited exclusive use of the high-resolution picture for activities in all media, including social media, online and print, in relation to the contest, the public photo gallery, and all promotional activities of the Swiss Association, without any remuneration being due.
3. The copyright holders represent and warrant that submission of the pictures does not breach any law, and further that no third party can hold any claims or any objections regarding the rights granted to the Swiss Association specified in article 2. The copyright holders will hold the Swiss Association harmless of any claims from third parties related hereto.
4. Members of the committee of the Swiss Association are not eligible to enter the competition.
